Bickel’s Snack Foods, Inc. of York, PA is voluntarily recalling two lots of 8 oz. Butter Flavored Popcorn due to the undeclared presence of milk. Consumers with an allergy or severe sensitivity to milk run the risk of serious or life-threatening allergic reaction if they consume these products.

The product was sold to a single distributor in Georgia and is available in various retail stores.

The affected product is packaged in 8-ounce clear plastic bags bearing UPC code 70175 06021. The following Use By codes are subject to this recall:

27 NOV 23 Z4 E1

Lot code information is printed on the front of the package above the label.

No other products or lot codes are affected by this recall.

To date, there have been no illnesses reported in connection with the consumption of this product.

The error occurred when Cheddar Flavored Popcorn was inadvertently placed into bags labeled as Butter Flavored Popcorn. The error was identified by a store employee who alerted the manufacturer.

Potentially-contaminated lettuce recalled from Wisconsin, Minnesota retailers

the lettuce was contained within ready-to-eat salads and wraps with meat and poultry.

That lettuce may be contaminated with deer feces.

The products in question were manufactured on Aug. 1 and 2, 2023.

The following items should be disposed of by consumers:

“Chicken Caesar Wrap FRESH SEASONS Kitchen,” in 7.2 or 8.65-oz. plastic film packages. Lot codes 21323 and 21423, and fresh-thru dates of 8/9 and 8/10.

“Chicken Caesar Salad FRESH SEASONS Kitchen” in 8.5 oz. plastic clam shell packages with lot code 21323 and fresh-thru dates of 8/9.

“Chef Salad FRESH SEASONS Kitchen” in 8.55 oz. plastic clam shell packages, with lot codes 21323 and 21423, and sell-by dates of 8/9 and 8/10.

“Bacon, Lettuce and Tomato Salad FRESH SEASONS Kitchen” in 5.85 oz. plastic clam shell packages, with lot codes 21323 and 21423, and sell-by dates of 8/9 and 8/10.

The products in question contain establishment numbers P-45091 and Est. 45091 on the front label, and were shipped to retail outlets in Minnesota and Wisconsin.

While there have been no confirmed illnesses, customers are still urged to throw away any packages with the impacted lettuce.

Ice Cream Recall due to possible ink pen pieces

Eclipse Foods Co., of Berkeley, CA, is recalling certain Caramel Butter Pecan Cups because the product may contain ink pen pieces.

According to the details posted online by the Food and Drug Administration, the recall was initiated on June 30 and is ongoing.

The recalled product was distributed in North Carolina, South Carolina, Virginia, Maryland, Washington D.C., Delaware and Illinois.
