Verizon's Backpack Full of School Supplies Giveaway July 30th

Participating authorized Verizon retailers across the nation are hosting the annual School Rocks Backpack Giveaway, 1-4 p.m. Sunday, July 30

More than 1,200 Verizon TCC and Wireless Zone stores nationwide invite families to pick up a backpack filled with pencils, paper, a pencil box, folders, a ruler and glue. One backpack per child present will be given away on a first-come, first-served basis while supplies last, according to a press release.

Verizon is donating 140,000 backpacks with supplies, during the annual give-back event.

In addition to the backpack donations, families can enter their K-12 students in a sweepstakes to win a $10,000 college scholarship. Five scholarships in total will be awarded to randomly selected winners.
