At first your gas will not be as cheap as mine. We will build up to that.

Upside allows the $ off per gallon up to 50 gallons in the same transaction.
Upside gives you the $ off per gallon. Then the bonus off per gallon.
You do have to go to specific gas stations. Upside gives you a map of participating gas stations. For me it’s the BP stations around me.
If you refer your friends and family you will save even more. For most apps, I do not recommend this, however, most people want to save on their gas, especially right now when the price is extreme. At least half of the people I referred to Upside use it that is a very good ratio.
*You do you have to connect your credit card or debit card to Upside. Usually I do not recommend this, but I’ve been using Upside for several years. Now I only connect my debit card to Upside, McDonald’s, and Ibotta.
We will pay out-of-pocket for our gas, then get the cash back sent directly to our bank account. We will use the money that we got back to get gas the next time. This is called rolling our rewards.
In the past when I got gift cards on the Upside app, I was not able to access them, so I highly recommend just sending the cash directly to your bank account.
I recommend that you fill up with gas when you use your rewards so you do not waste your rewards because it does take some time to get new rewards back. Most of you know, I probably do not leave the house as often as most of you do. If you get gas, let’s say once a week you may not save on your gas every single time. I usually get gas once or twice a month.
I am not a fan of spamming, your friends and family with referral links. I have found that the easiest app to get friends and family to use is the Upside app because we all use gas and need to save.

2 select the store you will be getting gas at on the Upside app
Connect your debt card (you must do this to get cash back)
Check in on the Upside app when you have arrived at the gas station (Be sure your location settings are turned on on your device)
Your cash rewards will be added to your Upside account in the app in just a few days typically. Be sure to keep your receipt.🧾
Open up Checkout51, click extras in the bottom right corner, Then submit your receipt to receive additional money back. I admit, sometimes I forget to submit my receipt to Checkout 51, then submit your receipt to receive additional money back. I admit sometimes I forget to submit my receipt to Checkout 51 so I do not include that in my savings, but you definitely want to do that to save even more. For me, it is the exact same stores on Upside as it is Checkout 51 for gas. ⛽️
Invite your friends and family for Upside with your referral to save even more each time you shop. For some reason some of this comes back to you in cash rewards. I’m not sure the difference.
