➡️ Now they are helping pay up to $50 a month for INTERNET go here.
If you are struggling to pay your rent, utilities or even own a home LISTEN UP!
Congress recently authorized $25 billion in emergency aid to renters. Some can even get help with utility bills and mortgage payments.
Generally to qualify for these grants you have to meet these 3 requirements
-80% below median wage (most states I looked into income guidelines were about $50,000 or less for the year for a family of 4)
-You are obligated to pay rent or may be at risk for homelessness
-Pays for rent, utilities or owe arrears. Some states provide homeowner assistance.
Some of the states I looked into will give grants for as long as 12 months! States like North Carolina say they currently are not accepting new applicants but many states are. Some of the states are accepting applications as of yesterday so hurry up! This grant money will surely run out.
If your state is not listed here try googling your state name and rental assistance program. I tried to find the states I know a lot of you live in. If you cannot find information comment your state on the post and I will do my best to help you or add your state to the list.
